Mint Customer to Categorize Your Transactions - Mint Supports

You are using an automatic categorization engine. You can make downloaded transactions easily and more uniform for all of our mint customer’s services. It evolves based on our mint customer service data so that display different names than you would expect from mint customer services.
How the Mint Categorization Engine learns about from Mintsupports:
  1. Six customers all have their transactions to pay by named Avon.
  2. Five of the six customers chosen “Shopping” to categorize their Avon all the transactions of mint customer services.
  3. This Mint Categorization Engine that any pay containing Avon in the description from the bank should be named as Avon and categorized as “Shopping”.
  4. The sixth User who lives in a town called Avon now downloads all the transactions of intuit mint customer services which include Avon in the transaction description. Intuit Mint will automatically rename any of those transactions as Avon with a category of “Shopping”.

You don’t have to keep the Mint customer services assigned name and category.
One-time Transactions:

If you find that the Mint customer services are defined the name is affecting only one or two transactions then you can simply edit those transaction(s) to the preferred name and category of “shopping”.

  1. Click on the Transactions tab of mint.com.
  2. Click on the transaction you’d like to edit that transaction.
  3. Click on “Edit Details” and then you can edit those transactions on the description and category.
  4. Click on the Done button.
Multiple-Time Transactions:
If the transaction(s) in question will be created regularly and you don’t want to edit those transactions at each time, you can utilize multiple transaction Rules.

  1. Click on the transaction you’d like to edit that transaction.
  2. Click on “Edit Details” and then you can edit those transactions on the description or category.
  3. Place a checkmark in the “Always rename Pay name” to create a rule for that transaction type.
  4. Click on the Done button.
You can click the “The Manage all of the Rules” button to review or edit all those existing of the Rules.
